Game is developed by the Czech manufacturing firm of computer games and screensavers of SCS Software which was formed in 1997. From games the company is known first of all for the series of games 18 Wheels of Steel (18 steel wheels) and Hunting Unlimited, and also the game Bus Driver. For SCS Software the game ETS 2 becomes already the thirteenth game devoted to life of truckers.
